Refund Policy

1. Digital Product Nature
CFax sells digital products (vehicle history reports) that are delivered instantly upon purchase. Due to the immediate nature of digital delivery, all sales are generally final.
2. Conditions for Refund
A full refund of credits or a chargeback may be issued in the following cases:
- The report could not be delivered due to a technical error on our side and the issue was not resolved within 24 hours.
- A duplicate payment was charged for the same order.
- The payment was processed but credits were not added to the account.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The report was successfully delivered but the Buyer is dissatisfied with its content (data is sourced from third-party databases).
- The Buyer entered an incorrect VIN code.
- Credits were spent but the Buyer no longer needs the report.
- The Buyer's account was suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Use.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the payment date. Please include:
- Your account email address
- Date and amount of the payment
- Description of the issue
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Unused Credits
Unused credits do not expire. There is no obligation to use all credits by a certain date. Refund of unused credits is not provided unless required by applicable law.
